Q. Sir we have got rejection regarding the name approval by stating that The proposed name with object indicate finance/investment related activities but declaration according to rule 8(2)(b)(XIII)of Companies Incorporation rules 2014 is not attached.Hence, rejected. Please guide

The said clause says:

the proposed name include words such as ‘Insurance’,‘Bank’, ‘Stock Exchange’, ‘Venture Capital’, ‘Asset Management’, ‘Nidhi’, ‘Mutual fund’ etc., unless a declaration is submitted by the applicant that the requirements mandated by the respective regulator, such as IRDA, RBI, SEBI, MCA etc. have been complied with by the applicant

Hence, you would need prior approval from SEBI.. that approval needs to be attached with incorporation documents
