We are providing accounting services from India to a client of  Australia. Books are maintained at their software installed at cloud in Australia. Payment received in USD. Only issue are:

1.     whether Place of Supply will be India or Australia.

2.     Is GST applicable or it will be Export of Services.

The services you are providing to your client in Australia would likely be considered as an export of services, and therefore, GST should not be applicable on these services, subject to fulfilling all the conditions mentioned under Section 2(6) of the IGST Act.
