I deposited a chq dtd 15.01.2023 with my bankers on 13.04.2023. It was returned with a memo dated 15.04.2023, stating the 'Return Code - Instrument out-dated/Stale'.
If my stated cheque was presented for the clearing to the drawer's bank, even on 15.04.2023, how can it be said 'stale' and returned?
It will be a great help, if you review and reply me ASAP.
